Good morning and happy Monday!
How are we all today on this blustery day with intermittent rain showers and bursts of sunshine?
I hope you're finding reasons to look on the bright side. It's definitely a bright morning here.
It's been a peculiar weekend for me. I have two dogs, both of whom I love dearly, but they are quite emotional and reactive when it comes to fireworks. For the past three nights, it felt like an endless barrage of bangs and noises, so I spent the weekend trying to comfort and pacify my furry friends. Fortunately, that chapter has come to a close.
This experience got me thinking about the stages we go through in life and throughout the year.
November, for me, is a time of reflection and assessment. It's a period to take stock of where I am and what needs to be done, especially before the busy holiday season in December.
I prefer to get my ducks in a row during November to avoid the holiday rush. I'm not one for New Year's resolutions, as I find them too pressured.
I believe in planting the seeds of change during November, so that I can start December and the early days of January with a sense of purpose.
For me, November is a time for letting go.
I often have my best moments of insight in the shower, as it's a time to switch off and reflect.
It's about shedding the old and making space for the new. What stories are we telling ourselves?
Where are we feeling stuck? It's common for people to believe they can't make any changes in their lives, but even small adjustments can have a significant impact.
We need to reevaluate our beliefs, habits, and the negative self-talk that's been holding us back.
Remember, we are the authors of our own lives, not other people's opinions or expectations.
A good exercise is to ask yourself: What would you do if you could do anything in the world?
Start there and work backward to figure out what's been holding you back.
Often, we come up with excuses for why we can't pursue our dreams, but it's crucial to challenge these limiting beliefs.
Spend this week on introspection and uncovering your true desires.
Additionally, there's a new moon on the horizon next week, and we're currently in a dark moon phase, which is excellent for introspection and letting go.
Now, let's turn our attention to the tarot cards, as they often reflect the themes I discuss.
Death or Rebirth: The death card may sound ominous, but it signifies new beginnings. It's time to break free from the shackles of the past and make room for fresh opportunities. Consider what you need to let go of to allow new things into your life.
Two of Pentacles: This card suggests that new relationships, whether personal or professional, are on the horizon. However, to embrace these new connections, you must release the old and let go of what's holding you back.
Five of Cups: This card serves as a reminder to stop dwelling on the past. Live in the present and focus on your future. The obstacles that are impeding your progress are often rooted in history. So, take that leap and leave the past behind because you can't change it.
As we move forward, remember to embrace change, let go of what no longer serves you, and focus on the exciting opportunities ahead.
Have a wonderful day and a great week ahead! See you soon.
